I found this information far more helpful than anything ever on this topic. My 17 year old does a wonderful job managing his many anxieties, but I believe I will be able to better direct us with this information. Thank you!

Hi Loren,
I'm an OT in Canada. I am an OT working with kids who have feeding difficulties. Would it be possible to connect? By e-mail or scype?

Thank you so much for this informative post! I'm studying for the boards and got a question from regarding anxiety in young people. I have it too, myself as an adult, so this post really put everything into perspective! Thank you so much!

Our daughter is extremely terrified to go to her dentist. I don't really know why she is so scared. I have been to all of her appointments and she seems fine at the actual office. However, every time we mention the dentist or when we are en route, she is freaking out. We don't know how to help her and she won't talk to us about it.
